Employees and officials of the energy family were urged to start the year right by espousing the virtues of loyalty and honesty in their respective jobs and business dealings – the high morals that the ‘year of the dog’ represents.
This was the highlight of the inspirational message that Department of Energy Secretary Alfonso G. Cusi delivered before energy family officials and employees in a simple joint flag ceremony dubbed ‘new year’s call’ held on January 8 at the energy department’s office in Taguig.
He also stressed the need to be punctual in their timelines and to act on documents expeditiously to be able to serve the public well.
The Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corporation, through its Officer-in-Charge, Lourdes S. Alzona, attended the ceremony. Officials of each agency, who were asked to come up on stage, were welcomed and acknowledged by the secretary.
