Power Sector Assets & Liabilities Management Corporation (PSALM) values your data privacy and your rights over your personal data. We are committed to safeguarding the personal data we collect from you in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (DPA) and all related laws and issuances.
Through this Privacy Notice, we would like to detail how we collect, use, store, share and dispose the personal data as reports or complaints are submitted through PSALM’s Whistle Blowing Portal.
The Personal Data We Collect
Through this Portal, depending on the type of report or complaint submitted, we may collect the personal data of the alleged violator: name, gender, department and position. We may also collect additional information as needed to support the report and help us with the investigation which may include your personal data. We, however, recognize your right to withhold any information which you find necessary for the protection of your identity.
Our Basis and Purpose for Processing
This Portal is being maintained in compliance with our legal obligation and to ensure that we perform our mandate free from abuse and corruption and with due regard for the rule of law as part of our good governance initiative. Personal data collected shall only be used to manage the report or complaint submitted and conduct necessary investigations. Personal data and copy of reports together with the evidence submitted shall be disclosed to Governance Commission for Government-Owned or Controlled Corporation’s (GCG) for their validation and in compliance with our legal obligation.
Our Storage and Data Security
We implement reasonable and appropriate security measures to protect personal data from unauthorized disclosure, misuse, alteration, loss or destruction. The personal data shall be stored in our local file server and back-up data center which are only accessible to authorized personnel. The personal data collected shall be retained for as long as necessary in relation to the purpose mentioned above and shall be safely destroyed thereafter.

Under the DPA, you are entitled to your data subject right to information, object, access, rectify, deletion or blocking, data portability, and to file a complaint.
