PSALM deliberates new strategies to resolve current corporate challenges and prepares action plans for possible corporate life extension

PSALM’s top management and department managers convene for the three-day conduct of the 2024 Corporate Strategic Planning Workshop (CSPW) at the Caliraya-Botocan-Kalayaan Conference Rooms of the Corporation’s 10th floor Vertis North Corporate Center 1 office, North Avenue, Quezon City.

The CSPW is a yearly three-day workshop intended to deliberate PSALM’s current issues, present strategic interventions and set new corporate targets for the year. Given the legislative proposals to extend its corporate life, PSALM also needs to realign its corporate directions. “This activity reflects PSALM’s unceasing commitment to fulfill all its mandates through a regular collective process of goal setting and adequately addressing the challenges of an ever-changing political and economic landscape,” PSALM President and CEO Dennis Edward A. Dela Serna said.

Highlights of the 2024 CSPW include PSALM’s Asset Management and Privatization Plan, Financial Liquidation and Financial Management Plans, Status and Plans of Action for Pending Cases, Corporate Performance Scorecard among other key topics. The Plenary Workshop, a latter part of the CSPW, will task teams of managers to formulate solutions to current corporate challenges such as reduction of financial obligations, collection of current and delinquent power receivables, and the privatization of remaining assets.
