PSALM employees create sweet smells in entrepreneurship seminar
As part of Women’s Month celebration, PSALM’s Gender and Development-Focal Point System (GAD-FPS) facilitated an entrepreneurship seminar on perfume and cologne-making to educate and empower women.
The whole day activity held last 29 March 2019 was spearheaded by Engr. Beato Griarte, Jr. of Negoskwela, a leading livelihood and technology training center in the Philippines.
PSALM employees were introduced the basics of perfume making, business management, and product costings. To test their acquired knowledge and skill, participants were given a free hand to craft their own perfumes, colognes, and air fresheners.
The goal of the seminar is to provide opportunities for alternative source of income for women to attain financial independence.
