PSALM employees learn life-saving CPR

PSALM employees attended a lecture on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on 18 December 2018. Led by the Armed Forces of the Philippines Reserve Command through LTC Joselito P. Vital MC (RES), the conduct of said lecture is beneficial as it is a crucial component in the government’s campaign on disaster preparedness. CPR lecture comes after a previous talk on disaster preparedness.

The Mayo Clinic defines cardiopulmonary resuscitation as a lifesaving technique useful in medical emergencies such as heart attack or drowning in which breathing or heartbeat has stopped. During the lecture, employees gained knowledge on Automated External Defibrillation as well as hands-on CPR practice.
