The Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corporation (PSALM) obtained a 99% overall satisfaction rating in its 2020 Customer Satisfaction Survey (CSS) conducted by the third-party consultant, Market Relevance Corporation. The 2020 CSS strictly followed the requirements of the Governance Commission for Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations (GCG).

This 2020 CSS was participated in by 79 business partners and customers of PSALM across the country, including Independent Power Producers (IPP) and IPP Administrators, power customers, asset buyers and bidders, renewable energy developers and self-generating facilities.

PSALM President and Chief Executive Officer, Irene Besido Garcia, said “PSALM remains committed to fulfilling its mandates while ensuring that PSALM’s statekolders are satisfied with the services of PSALM. We will continuously provide quality service to address the requirements of our business partners and customers.”

PSALM’s high overall rating in 2020 is attributed mainly to the responsiveness of its staff and the prompt delivery of services. The respondents to the CSS gave high marks to PSALM for the helpfulness of its personnel, the reliability, clarity and accuracy of the information given to customers and the efficiency of the bidding activities undertaken by PSALM. Power customers especially appreciated the lower energy rates offered by PSALM which further boosted the overall satisfaction of the respondents of the CSS.

Pursuant to the rules and regulations implemented by the GCG, the CSS is administered every year by a third party provider to allow PSALM to obtain feedback that is crucial for the continuous improvement of its services.
