The Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corporation (PSALM) held a pre-bid conference on 17 November 2020 as part of the process for the second round of public auction for the sale of its Loboc, General Santos City and Camalaniugan Properties. The bid submission deadline for these assets is set for 02 December 2020 at 2:00 PM.
The pre-bid conference provided an opportunity for prospective bidders to raise any questions that they may have relative to the terms of the sale. Three bidders participated in the pre-bid conference: Sta. Clara Power Corporation, SPC Power Corporation and Cagayan Electric Cooperative II (CAGELCO II).
The bidding for the above-mentioned assets is on a “Cash” and “As-is, Where-is” basis.
The minimum bid price for the 13,204 sq. meters Loboc Property is set at PHP12,139,000.00. The General Santos City Property with an indicative area of 1,868 sq. meters has a minimum bid price of PHP10,974,500.00. Lastly, the Camalaniugan Property with an indicative area of 2,148 sq. meters is set at PHP3,222,000.00.
Interested parties may download the bidding package for each of these assets from the PSALM website (www.psalm.gov.ph) until 01 December 2020. Only parties that paid the participation fee will be allowed to participate in the sale of the aforementioned real estate assets. Proceeds of the sale will be used to augment collections needed to settle PSALM’s financial obligations.
