The Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corporation (PSALM) held a pre-bid conference on 21 July 2020 as part of the process for the sale of its Agusan, Maco, Nasipit and Puerto Azul real estate assets. The bid submission deadline for these assets is scheduled on 06 August 2020 at 2:00 PM.
This pre-bid conference was an opportunity for prospective bidders to clarify issues and concerns they may have on the terms of the sale.Two interested bidders, FG Bukidnon Power Corporation (FGBPC) and Therma Marine Inc. (TMI), participated in the pre-bid conference.
The bidding for the above-mentioned assets is on an “”as-is, where-is” basis, and upfront full payment is required.
The minimum bid price for the 10,596 sq. meters Agusan Property is set at PHP23,841,000.00. The Maco Property with an indicative area of 1,595 sq. meters has a minimum bid price of PHP3,209,140.00. The Nasipit Property has an indicative area of 3,395 sq. meters with a minimum bid price of PHP4,414,000.00. Lastly, the two condominium units in Puerto Azul Complex, namely, Unit B5-B and B5-C, each with a gross floor area of 247.22 sq. meters, will be sold separately. Unit B5-B minimum bid price is set at PHP4,119,700.00 while Unit B5-C includes one (1) No-par Value Proprietary Share under Class A Stock Certificate No. 109, with a minimum bid price of PHP3,757,800.00.
The bidding package for any of these assets is available for interested bidders from 9 July 2020 until one (1) business day prior to the bid submission deadline on 06 August 2020. The bidding package can be downloaded from the PSALM website at www.psalm.gov.ph. Only parties who paid the participation fee will be allowed to participate in the sale of the aforementioned real estate assets. Proceeds of the sale will be used to augment collections needed to settle PSALM’s financial obligations.
