PSALM adjusts bid date for Malaya plant and its underlying land

In view of the enhanced community quarantine throughout Luzon to avert the spread of COVID-19, the Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corporation (PSALM) has adjusted the deadline for the submission of bids for the Third Round of Public Bidding for the Malaya Thermal Power Plant (MTPP) and its underlying land from 30 April to 19 May 2020 at 12 noon.

In order to acquire the bidding package for these assets, interested bidders must submit on or before 16 April 2020 their respective letters of interest (LOI), executed confidential agreement, undertaking forms and payment of a non-refundable PHP150,000.00 participation fee.

The following day, 17 April 2020, is the deadline for the submission of documentary deliverables. PSALM will disclose the minimum bid price to qualified bidders immediately after obtaining the approval of its board.

PSALM is constantly monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will issue appropriate Supplemental Bid Bulletins to adjust dates of the bidding process should circumstances warrant.
