15 Apr 2019

The Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corporation (PSALM) adheres to international standards for its quality management system (QMS), as confirmed by third party auditor TÜV Rheinland after its extensive audit last 03 December 2018 on PSALM’s business processes and quality objectives.

In its second follow-up audit two years after its ISO (International Organization for Standardization) certification, PSALM has maintained its compliance with ISO 9001:2015.

TÜV Rheinland validated that PSALM’s management system complies with, adequately maintains and implements the requirements of the standard. Scope of audit includes PSALM’s QMS on power asset privatization, asset and liability management, administration of Universal Charge, and support services.

PSALM has 178 documented business processes randomly evaluated by the third-party auditor. The audit revealed zero non-conformities and noted positive findings such as PSALM’s recognition as the fourth highest income earner in the Government Sector and second largest taxpayer in the Government Corporate Sector in 2017. Continual improvement is also observed in PSALM’s digitization of its titles and tax declarations.

With the ISO certification, PSALM maintains its commitment to provide quality service, and promote integrity and transparency in its processes.
