PSALM is now calling interested bidders to signify their interest to participate in the privatization of the 650-Megawatt Malaya Thermal Power Plant (MTTP) and its underlying land located at Brgy. Malaya, Pililla, Rizal. The bid opening is set on 14 December 2018.
Through an Invitation to Bid, PSALM announced that it will accept Letters of Interest (LOIs) from interested parties starting 05 October 2018 until 19 November 2018. Only interested parties who submitted LOIs will be allowed to participate in the privatization of the assets.
PSALM will hold a pre-bid conference on 17 October 2018 to solicit any comments and concerns that interested bidders may have on the asset sale provisions.
As a prerequisite to the receipt of the bidding package, interested parties must execute a Confidentiality Agreement and an Undertaking and pay a non-refundable fee in the amount of PHP150,000.00 as participation fee on or before 20 November 2018.
Interested bidders must address their bids to the PSALM Bids and Awards Committee (PBAC) Chairperson and send to PSALM’s new office at 24th Floor, Vertis North Corporate Center Tower 1, Astra corner Lux Drives, Vertis North, Mindanao Avenue, 1105 Quezon City.
