The Board of Directors of the Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management (PSALM) Corporation appointed officers to its top management positions.
Ms. Lourdes S. Alzona, recently President and Chief Executive Officer of PSALM, has been appointed back to her previous position of Vice President for Finance. She is also concurrently appointed as Officer-in-charge (OIC) of PSALM.
Mr. Arnold C. Francisco is appointed as Vice President for Asset Management Group (AMG), while Mr. Cecilio B. Gellada Jr., assumes the position of General Counsel/Vice President for the Office of the General Counsel (OGC). Both Francisco and Gellada have been responsible for their respective groups in acting capacity since May 2015.
The recent movements were implemented to adhere to the principles of good corporate governance and to further enhance PSALM's institutional capacities in delivering its mandates.
Alzona, Francisco, and Gellada together bring to their positions more than 30 years work experience and extensive exposure in the electric power industry.
