The Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management (PSALM) Corporation has commenced the procurement for the supply and delivery of its CY 2015 industrial diesel oil (IDO) requirements for the Ilijan Natural Gas Power Plant.
Through an Invitation to Bid published on Friday (23 January 2015), PSALM announced that it will procure 60 million liters of IDO for the Ilijan power plant, with an Approved Budget for Contract of PhP1.66 billion (PhP1,664,911,472.00).
"The IDO procurement project shall ensure the operation of Ilijan this year, especially with the anticipated tightening of power supply in the summer," PSALM President and Chief Executive Officer Emmanuel R. Ledesma, Jr. said.
Interested parties are required to pay a nonrefundable fee of PhP75,000 either in the form of cash or cashier's/manager's check as payment for the Bidding Documents. Issuance of said documents began on 23 January 2015.
PSALM will hold the Pre-Bid Conference on 30 January 2015, 10:00 a.m., at its Makati City office, and shall be open only to all interested parties who have purchased the Bidding Documents.
Bid submission deadline is on 16 February 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Late bids will not be accepted.
