PSALM reinforces risk management culture through ERM reorientation seminar
The Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management (PSALM) Corporation successfully conducted an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Reorientation Seminar on 14 May 2025 at the 10th Floor, Caliraya Room of the PSALM Office.
The seminar was facilitated by Mr. Jose Paolo P. Mungcal, PSALM’s seasoned IMS consultant, who provided a comprehensive overview and practical insights on strengthening PSALM’s ERM framework. The reorientation session aimed to reinforce the understanding of ERM principles among participants, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives and promoting a risk-aware culture across all levels.
Through engaging discussions and activities, Mr. Mungcal highlighted the importance of proactive risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring. The seminar also served as a workshop for the participants to revisit and improve their respective risk registers and present them to the body for comment.
The activity is part of PSALM’s continuing efforts to promote good governance, enhance organizational resilience, and deliver on its mandate with efficiency and accountability.
The seminar/workshop was attended by the Department Managers, new employees and the Planning, Performance and Risk Management Officers of each unit of PSALM.
